Folks - we need a light in that tunnel under the RR bridge! I walk through there on my way to and from work, and it feels like something out of a Stephen King novel. I called the City Manager's office and they told me that they replace the lights regularly and then they are vandalized. Now I've been walking through that tunnel for seven years and I've never seen a new fixture in it. I think we need to consider safety above all else and get some heavy duty lighting in that tunnel. I know that other cities have lighting that they are able to keep in working order, so perhaps the City manager needs to speak to the folks in Youngstown or Pittsburgh or Cleveland.

I would like to let everyone know that the Crescendo Club Band Boosters is opening the club up to Alumni thie year. We would like to see the past band members be involved with making the club as profitable as it can be. We will be having our first Club meeting on Aug. 20th at 5pm in the band room. Hope to see you all there.
