NEWTON FALLS — With the start of a new year, the Newton Falls Community Center is planning to add a few more programs, including a teen game night and sock hop.
Bob Burke, community center director, said while many of the popular programs at the center from last year will continue there, this year there has been discussion on possibly adding Tae Kwon Do, tumbling classes and game nights
‘‘We are looking forward to 2008. Anyone who has ideas for new programs, we can offer to meet the needs of the residents is welcome to suggest them,’’ Burke said.
Mel Wilson, senior coordinator for senior programs, said that senior programs have proven to be well attended, with as many as 25 to 35 seniors showing up for line dancing, the Silver Sneakers exercise program and arthritis exercise classes.
